Ingredients
Fresh Strawberries - 1 cup
Granulated Sugar - 5-6 tspns (Depending on the sweetness of the strawberries)
A Sprig of Rosemary
Water - 1/4 cup
Directions
Blend all the ingredients in a blender except the Rosemary Sprig
Pour the mixture in a sauce pan
Bring the mixture to a simmer
Keep it simmering for 10 to 15 minutes till the syrup starts thickening
Add the Rosemary Sprig during the last 3 minutes
Take the syrup off the stove
Let it cool
Remove the Rosemary Sprig
Store in a jar and refrigerate
The syrup could be used on pancakes, crepes, waffles or added to salad dressing, cocktails, milkshakes etc. The possibilities are endless.
