Methi Bajri Wade (Millet And Fenugreek Cakes)


Methi Bajra Wada

Ingredients


2 cups Bajri Flour
3/4 Cups Chopped Methi
1/4 Cups Plain Yogurt
2 tsps Cumin Powder
2 tsps Coriander Powder
3 tsps Powdered Jaggery (optional)
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together
Add a little water to form a dough
Make lime sized balls of the dough
Pat the balls gently on your hand to form round disks
Make sure the disks are neither too thick, not too thin
Heat oil in a fryer/ wok
Fry the disks gently on both the sides till they are golden brown
Enjoy with a simple Yogurt Dip
